Low Speed Surface Aerator

Low Speed Surface Aerator is an ideal aerator for oxygen transfer in a wide range of  wastewater treatment and extended aeration. The aerator has rotating turbine, which is operated
at a low speed, i.e. 40 – 110 rpm by an integral motor and gearbox. As the turbine rotates, the  designed veins create a strong pumping force. A stream of water can then rise and break down  horizontally in a spray of water droplets. This induces an ideal air-to-water interface, which gives  very high oxygen transfer efficiency.

The low speed surface aerator is designed for optimum stirring and oxygenation. The helical-geared motor is specially invented with extended housing to give a high vertical shear at longer duration time. The gearbox is strongly-built design with oversized thrust and bearings. Moreover, the shape of rotor and the blades have been studied to give effective mixing and oxygenation without the risk of clogging.

 Features
     1.  The helical geared motor with extended housing is specially           designed for agitation.
     2.   The gearbox is a strongly-built design with service factor            higher than two.
     3.  Two types of coupling are available, i.e. standard coupling           and tapered-lock coupling (easy for installation and           maintenance).
     4.  The impeller is made of stainless steel 304/316 or hot-dip           galvanized steel.
     5.  The conical curved-blade turbine is designed to give deeper           circulation of water than conventional flat-blade turbine. This           new design can give effective mixing and oxygenation without           the risk of clogging.
     6.  The frame or mounting platform can be made from stainless           steel or hot-dip galvanized steel.
     7.  The float is made of polyethylene filled with polyurethane           foam. It is non corrosive and maintenance free.
     8.  Aerator speeds are from 40 to 110 rpm, see details in           general specification.
